Gorgeous Louella is only 21 and currently lives in Melbourne, Australia. She may pay her bills as a retail assistant but Louella spends all her spare time modelling, doing pin-up and singing and writing songs. Louella's aspirations are pretty simple and down to earth. - "Be happy and healthy and try to succeed in anything I do. Even when I fail, to not let it get me down and keep going. I want to sing more and travel the world modelling and singing and meeting awesome people."

Louella draws her inspiration from the 1950s, fashion, music, models such as Mosh, Lourdes Quintana, Sabina Kelley, Elegy Ellem and of course Bettie Page. As well as both old and new photographers, and all the photographers she has collaborated with. "Music clips, movies, anything! You can be inspired by almost anything and everything!"
But one of her biggest inspirations is her mother.
"My mum, the most strongest and inspiring women in my life. She has been to hell and back with illness, and has come out of the end of it so strong, wise and still laughing at life."

Louella spent majority of her childhood moving around a lot due to her parents divorce. Louella recounts the almost 30 houses she's lived in in her short lifetime. Whilst Louella dropped out of school several times when she was a teenager she got her act together and finished high school after moving to Melbourne at age 19. Louella has been able to turn her modelling and pin-up experience into an ever expanding portfolio and at the ripe age of 21 it can only grow as Louella herself too grows as both a woman and a model.

While Louella doesn't see herself as a model just yet, she admits in her own way she is.
"I'm certainly not the most sought after model, but the more I shoot and more work I get I guess I'm starting to see my place in the industry. You grow with each step you take. "

When did you become involved in modelling and what do you love about it?
"I did my first photo shoot with a friend of mine who was studying photography when I was 17. It wasn't pin up, or fetish or anything like that, but I enjoyed it, and somehow I just started doing more and more. I love the feeling of being in front of the camera, being photographed, being a subject, Its sexy. You feel sexy. And it gives you confidence. I get more and more confident in myself each time I shoot. You also get to meet a lot of creative like minded people that you draw inspiration from."

What do you admire in other women?
"Confidence, and the softness women have. Not all women have it, I've met hard arse girls before, and there's nothing bad about that, we all need to be a little rough around the edges, but I love women that are connected to their femininity and embrace it. I admire other women's style and attitude too. Girls who are their own."

So who is Louella Deville?
"If she doesn't scare you no evil thing will" haha I love that song. Umm Louella Deville, a lady doing her thing, becoming comfortable in what she does. I am a alt/fetish/ pin up model, singer and performer and I absolutely love what I do."

How would you describe your style?
"It varies. I like to do more edgy stuff, fetish, alt and pin up stuff. I love to work with latex, lace, sheers, lingerie and tight fitting things. High heels and well done makeup."
Who would you say is your style icon?
"I do love Patrica Day from the Horrorpops. I love alternative girls with style and grace. But mainly my friends and the people I see on the street and out and about."

What would you like to do in the future?
"Travel the world, making music, singing, meeting people. I haven't quiet figured out my "career" just yet. I'm only 21! I do want to do university, but I need to get rid of the travel bug first!"

Are you a fashion brands girl or do you just wear what you like or whats comfortable?
"I wear whatever feels good. I buy my clothes, accessories etc etc from all types of places. shops, thrift shops, garage sales, friends, vintage stores. where ever there's something I like."

What's your take on life and what advice would give any of your fans?
"Sometimes life throws curve balls at you. Don't ignore the issues in your life, face them, heal and move on. Be kind to the people in your life, and be kind to yourself. Do what makes you happy and even though there are ALWAYS going to be malicious and unkind people in the world and in your life, don't let their judgements get you down. Be yourself and be happy in who you are and what you do :) Take leaps and if you fail, pick yourself up and dust yourself off. And remember, there is ALWAYS someone who loves you. "

One of the main reasons I chose to feature Louella is because I remember meeting her when she was 19 and first moved to Melbourne and thought she was the sweetest little thing and it's been so awesome watching her grow and become the confident sexy young woman she now is.
