TFW is a beginning.

A pathway for Divide and Dissolve. When we first met one of the first pieces of information we chose to share with each other is that we are Indigenous.

TFW is a map we created to fight the dispossession that we both experience and strive to negate. It is a humble and demanding petition for Indigenous Sovereignty, decolonization in all its formations, our connection with the Earth, Water, Life, people and our responsibilities.

TFW is a manifestation of our resistance to colonization, slavery, racism, the carceral state, imperialism, and oppressive power structures and ideologies.

To complete this EP, Istigkeit & H880 offer their own vision of the "Pain for Pleasure" & “Female Naked”, respectively, the result is a post-apocalyptic soundtrack for a one-way ticket to vice.

FF//GG IS PRE-LINGUA IGNOTA ACADEMIC WORK WRITTEN, PERFORMED, AND RECORDED FOR BROWN UNIVERSITY'S DIGITAL LANGUAGE ARTS PROGRAM IN 2016. THE PIECE IS ABOUT VIOLENCE, CONTROL, REPETITION, AND GRIEF.

TEXT, VOICE, AND SOUND GENERATE A CONCEPTUAL FEEDBACK LOOP THROUGH ALGORITHMIC AND PREDICTIVE PROCESSES. DOZENS OF DISCRETE SAMPLES ALIGNED WITH FRAGMENTS OF TEXT ARE MANIPULATED AND TRIGGERED VIA GESTURAL CONTROL AND MAX/MSP.
