Hobbies:
modelling, travelling, yoga.

Aspirations:
Just now? I'd like to see more of the world.

Single/Taken: single.

Education/Study:
I studied product design in college

What was growing up like for you?

Ugh I was pretty much a loser all throughout school, went through various 'interesting' phases as my mum would say. I had it pretty easy though, my mum being the wonderful constant in my life.

Do you see yourself as Model?

Nah not at all, I model for fun not because I can make a living from it. I still get really shy in front of the camera at times and wonder why I'm there at all.

When did you become involved in modelling and what do you love about it?

I guess properly when I was 19 and started modelling for Suicide Girls. I've loved the travelling it has allowed me to do and meet the people I call my best friends today. Also in a photograph I'm whoever the viewer wants me to be, they can fantasize about a girl who is most likely nothing like me, I love that.

It's no secret you do a lot of nude modelling. What came first? Nude or clothes modelling? And what are the most common misconceptions about nude modelling and nude models?

I actually went straight into FRONT magazine (a British lads mag) when I was still a baby just turned 18, don't think I've ever modeled clothes! The most common misconceptions people make about nude models from my experience is that we are loud, arrogant people whereas I am quite the introvert.

What has modelling and more specifically nude modelling taught you about yourself?

It's taught me that I'm never going to be everyone's vision of beauty and for every person putting me down there are ten singing my praises.

What do you admire in other women?

I admire my friends for things as small as having the guts to wear a bikini in public or something life changing like starting her own business. I appreciate and admire every woman who has her own goals and challenges to tackle on a day to day basis. I am lucky to have such strong women around me most of who I've met from modelling.

Who is Lass Suicide?

Ahh it's a strange question this one, I'm never quite sure how to answer it! I guess that's my online persona, who I come across as to someone who has never met me but follows me on various social networking sites.

Where do you draw inspiration from?

My friends are probably where I get most of my inspiration from, those ridiculous late night conversations where something just snaps in your head. Yeah, those ones.

How would you describe your style?

One day I could be wearing a catholic school girl uniform the next denim hot pants and crop top. I chop and change all the time.

Are you a fashion brands girl or do you just wear what you like or whats comfortable?

I'm addicted to online shopping, whether that be a shirt from UNIF or a second hand pair of yoga pants I found on etsy. I generally will see something and just know I would like it in my closet no matter the brand.

Who would you say is your style icon?

They honestly change everyday. Right now Mila Kunis (probably more because I have a crush on her) if you were to ask me the same thing last week I would have said a 90's Shirley Manson.

Tales of love & lust?

Ah I have my fair share of stories. Still holding out for that ultimate one.

What do you look for in the opposite sex? And what are the number 1 deal breakers?

Just a genuine dude, no game playing or fannying around. Deal breaker being o guys who are skinnier than I am.

What is it that you love most about being a woman?

I can't pick one thing! Everything.

When no one is around what is Lass usually doing?

Eating, I have a serious problem with snacking after 2am... That yoga and online shopping.

Is there a public and private Lass?

Public Lass is my online persona, private Lass is just me...average wee bird going about my daily business.

What's your take on life and what advice would give any of your fans?

I just never take myself too seriously, that's the best advice I could give anyone.

Kria Jewelry X Craft & Culture

Craft & Culture just launched the new collection by Kria. The collection is by Johanna Methusalemsdottir who is Icelandic but lives and works in Brooklyn. Johanna's collections are inspired by her findings along the southwestern shore of Iceland and many pieces from this collection are cast from the bones of the cod, the fish that has been the main sustenance of the Icelandic people for generations.
