The wait is over! Australia's premier heavy blues act CHILD have surprised us with the first single titled "Free and Humble" from their much anticipated third LP "Soul Merda". The band have announced that this album "will be the last from the CHILD you know". It is not known whether this means the band is expanding, changing direction creatively or returning to the mothership. We do know that this is the beginning of an exciting new path for the band and listeners alike. Remember to stay "Free and Humble".

For the past few years King Dude has been one of the most misunderstood voices in folk music. He's been accused of everything under the sun; to some he is a violent Luciferian psychopath, still to others he is nothing more than a charlatan, a drunkard, a fool... And that's just scratching the surface. While there seems to be no clear consensus about who King Dude really is, the fact remains clear. He is enigmatic.

King Dude's latest album Full Virgo Moon (coming on March 13th 2020 from Van Records) represents a "shots-fired over the line" at many of his detractors. These songs become pointed dagger-like anthems of the unsung theists and atheists alike. This manner of writing has the power to weaponize music and transform his voice into the most dangerous one of our times. Beware and be aware, King Dude is a force to be reckoned with.

Full Virgo Moon was written and recorded in Seattle Washington in the first two weeks of January 2020. The album consists of nine new songs all performed, recorded, mixed and mastered at home by Thomas Cowgill. The focus of the album was to recall the earlier works of King Dude before he had a full band, so there is a distinct minimal approach to the album.

[LISTEN] BLACK RAINBOWS | ISOLATION

Black Rainbows are back with a brand new album! This time they are delivering 12 new and fresh tunes. Recorded and produced by Fabio Sforza, who was also behind the previous album Pandaemonium. “Cosmic Ritual Supertrip” has a monolithic force; guitars, drums and bass are all glued together to give the listener a punch in the face! This album gets its magic power from mixing together a 70’s attitude with a doom-occult and stoner rock sound in a masterful way. We can count a bunch of singles, such as “Isolation” and “Master Rocket Power Blast”, as well as a couple of doomy songs like “Universal Phase” and “Saacred Graal” and also more catchy tunes like “Radio 666” and “At Midnight You Cry”. This is the 8th album of the band and we believe the best one so far. Recorded at Forward Studios in Rome on a huge Neve desk, this new gem will be out May 1st, on Heavy Psych Sounds Records.

The amazing artwork, made by the one and only Robin Gnista, is matching in its entirety the album music concept.
