What was growing up like for you?

I think I had an amazing childhood, I don't know what exactly it was or the combination of things that helped shape me into the lady I am today but I am so thankful for them. I must say I don't get along well with my family, most the time it's a struggle, I think I tend to not be a forgive & forget kind of person... I grew up with a mom wanting me to do everything my sister wouldn't do for her, and a father who sat side stage and photographed & fulfilled every moment & dream of my mothers. It wasn't until I was 14 and they divorced after 23 years of marriage that I ever had a relationship with my dad, and was able to learn about my farther and how he always puts my sister and I before himself. I think my parents did everything they could for us, and I feel very privileged, granted we were never rich nor are we, they just did so much to bring us everything, and I feel I had a blessed childhood.

Do you see yourself as a Model?

Maybe? When I think of real, REAL models, I think of New York, runway, and Cara Delevingne, I feel models make a living from there abilities and I do no such thing.

When did you become involved in modeling and what do you love about it?

When I was 15 I stared doing hair shows and photographers approached me from there, it wasn't until I met two amazing photographers from San Marcos who have helped support me and turn me into the model I am today. Hands down what I love most is the confidence I gain from it, granted that also involves people gushing over me and complementing me, but it makes me feel on top of the world.

What would you like to do it more in the future?

love, travel, help animals, be around them.

You do a lot of nude/semi nude modeling and come across as very confident and sexually aware. What do you like about nude/semi nude modeling and what have you learned from it?

The confidence it gives me and that no matter what, there will still be people judging you.

From your personal experience, what is the biggest preconception and stereotype about modeling and the women involved in it?

They don't eat and have to be six feet tall

What do you admire in other women?

Class

Who is Torrie?

I can be a lot of things, I'm young and full of emotions, I'm delicate and so sweet, but like all girls, I can be out of line at times. I want to give people everything, I'm a lover of one beautiful man and an animal, art, nature enthusiast.

Where do you draw inspiration from?

Art, nature, photography, emotions or an amazing person

How would you describe your style?

grungy, 90's, hippy, a lot of beige and black

Are you a fashion brands girl or do you just wear what you like or whats comfortable?

Comfort and affordable, but of course I have my favorite brands, but they are skatewear like volcom, RVCA, Hurley, vans, element.  I have finally given in to Free people, their clothes are just to beautiful to pass sometimes.

What are your top 5 fashion staples you cannot live without?

I could live without it all

Favourite places to shop?

Nordstrom Rack, then TJ Maxx, Mashalls & Ross. I literally only shop at these stores.

Tales of love & lust?

Sadly, if a two year long relationship hadn't ended yesterday evening, I'd give you one hell of a love story about the most beautiful man and I, but I won't.

What is it that you love most about being a woman?

Boobs!

What do you find sexy?

Someone who loves themselves and doesn't need to take drugs

Is there anything you would change about yourself if you could?

Nothing physical, but deeper, I would love to be able to better understand people and learn to let go, forgive people  their mistakes.

When no one is around what is Torrie usually doing?

At home either talking to myself or to my dogs in a weird voice while watching netflix, possible in the nude.

Is there a public and private Torrie?

I don't think so, I'm a pretty open book, but I can be shy sometimes, and act different around/to certain people.

What's your take on life and what advice would give any of your fans?

Be patient, be kind, be honest, be thoughtful. Share your life with who you love doing what you love

MATERIAL LUST | EDITIONS

"The GEOMETRY IS GOD line is driven by a fascination with Pagan and Alchemical symbolism and ancient geometries. With this series, we have attempted to reinterpret these markings without losing the potency of their primary aesthetic. The goal is to make furniture that is symbolically dense, and as a result the collection could be described as functional sculpture."
