Angel Karel, (Yes, that Angel, Founder & Artistic Director TFIF [The Future) EP, 'Pain For Pleasure' is inspired by the unique atmosphere of [NO GENDER]'s dark, non-conformist, queer events, organised by the collective TFIF [The Future Is Female], which she is the creator of. To complete this EP, Istigkeit & H880 offer their own vision of the "Pain for Pleasure" & “Female Naked”, respectively, the result is a post-apocalyptic soundtrack for a one-way ticket to vice.

[LISTEN] AGENCY | SELF TITLED DEBUT

Producer, IOD label-sub and one half of Berlin’s Operant, Agency will release his debut, self-titled EP on Instruments Of Discipline on November 11, 2019. 

The EP is a club-aimed release, martial rhythms, granular feedback, vocal chants and primal-scream therapy extractions are wound together with heavy kicks, the track titles form a small piece of prose, a vision lifted from a Boschian nightmare.

Coal’s self-titled debut is a crushing rejection of the hive-mind colony of your scene, your values and your reality, not an escape, not a distraction, but a true-vision of the world in all its grotesque, hate-filled glory. Listeners will step away from this record as from a Coal show, cleansed, purged and altered. 

After initial flirtations with the project being a ‘live electronic act’ proved unsatisfying, Anthony Arcana & Oliver Kohlenberg chose to morph the project into something unbound: hoarse-barked, one-line lyrics, mutant chainsaw guitar feedback and drums that sound like a nightmare, Kronenberg trash-compactor collide to form their own world. Coal’s sound is a blurred vision of influences, fusing elements of post-metal, hip-hop, black-metal, American hardcore, sludge, doom, jungle and trap into something that feels cathartic, potent, whole and unique.

Iron Sight // To You Who Broke My Heart [IOD]

Iron Sight’s music crosses territory between dystopian sci-fi futurism and biblical eschatology, perhaps the same event, the end of the Uroburos’ tail; mechanical percussion hits anchor drones that evoke Albrecht Durer’s vision of The Four Horsemen, bristling synths audibly resemble locust drones descending upon rotting fields, a voice made from barbed wire emerges from a storm of reverb.

This record, as the title suggests focuses on the trauma of a broken heart, bodies longed for are dissected and reconstructed, the minimal composition of the tracks allows cinematic spaces to unfold, constructing the scaffolding for a descent into obsession, mania and the annihilation of memory.

Russian Paradox consists of four songs, three already included in our live program, continuing the idea of the sound of our self-titled, debut release; the exception is «Atra Mors», a typical power electronics display that penetrates the charred skull like dead winds in the desert, the concept of the song lies in the parallels between contemporary Europe and the Europe of 1346. «The Approximate Man» is dedicated to Tristan Tzara's primitive poetry. 

«Russian Paradox» is an absolutely new stage of Manunkind, inspired by reflection and personal experiences of transcendence, dedicated to the power of the big land, the magic of air and our blood history, to the paradox that became an integral part of our existence, passing through centuries, shouting to us inevitably that 2+2 always makes 5. Always. Here. Forever. 

We meet causeless, strong-willed self-affirmation at the intersection with total lack of will, extreme sensuality and extreme emotional neglect. Pressed and cut.
