I've learned that this industry is full of quiet, gentle, generous and creative people who will always inspire you, contrary to the typical stereotype of tattooists. You are always learning so you should never think you know it all or that you are better than anyone else. To gain a good reputation you have to work really hard and keep evolving.
What advice do you have to people considering careers in tattooing?
Everyone has a different apprenticeship but generally you must be prepared to work long hours and not for very much money, if any. you usually end up juggling 2 or 3 jobs and drawing all the time so you gain more skill. Listen to senior tattooists, read articles they give good advice, they have gone through what you are about to and no doubt more, their wisdom and experiences are gold.

Lots of Travel Domestic and International. I meet amazing people from all walks of life on a daily basis. i have creative freedom with my work. I can honestly say that i love my job.
