What attracted you to tattooing? 

The whole idea of revolving you life around producing art.



How did you get into the industry?

 It was the right place right time for me. I was lucky I  had connections to someone in the industry, so i jumped on the opportunity.





Was it hard to find an apprenticeship? 

I did go to a couple of different studios looking for an apprenticeship, but i went to WA Ink quite early in my search. I still think of myself as to be very lucky.




How many years have you been tattooing? 

Coming up to four years.




What inspires you? 

All forms of old American art, from tattoo flash to realism.




Who are your favourite tattoo artists? 

There are lots, but to be honest my favourites are the ones whom have the most impact on my work to date, Merrick Ames and Pari Corbitt.






How would you describe your tattoo style? 

Traditional. I like to work a lot of black into my designs. 




What have you learned in your years in the industry? 

That all styles of tattooing help you develop all the skills needed to be a successful tattooist, you can't just stick to one thing and expect everything to fall into place.




What advice do you have to people considering careers in tattooing? 

 A total commitment to the tattooing trade is needed to be successful.



What are some of the best things you have experienced as a result of your career?

  I've met my best friends and fiance through tattooing, and I'll always be grateful.
