Silhouette: a fashion show featuring a trio of independent Melbourne-based jewellery designers; Sacreflux, Kick in the Eye and Psychic Desert. These artists will come together for one night to showcase new collections and concept based pieces that seek to redefine the traditions of adornment.

Set in an industrial building on the grounds of the Abbotsford Convent featuring dancers and a live quartet. Silhouette applies an artistic lens to the concept of the fashion show, creating an immersive and theatrical experience that invites you to re-think jewellery’s place on a runway.

[LISTEN] Lái

Lái has produced 5 tracks of of blistering Swedish influenced d-beat punk propelling raging vocals right into the face of the listener. Vocalist Aldas lyrics engage with voices that explore politics, religion, feminism and queer rights in South East Asia and the diaspora. Sung in both Bahasa Indonesian and English and the band name taken from the Chinese Mandarin phrase meaning 'to come/next,' Lái invoke identities and themes that often inter-connect but also conflict in the world around us.

Not Just A Girl Flash Day Melbourne

NOT JUST A GIRL is a Charity TATTOO FLASH DAY where some of Australia's leading female identifying tattoo artists are working together to raise money to help support women in need.

Each artist will have a sheet of original designs available to choose from. The flash day will be walk-in only, on a first come, first served basis. Prices will range from $150-$500 and will be listed on the day.

For those not getting tattooed who would still like to support this even, there will be merch, art and prints available for purchase. We are also taking donations of clothing, non-perishables and sanitary items that we can pass onto local charities.

All the profits made at this event from tattoos and the sale of merch and art will be donated to three amazing charities that support women in need. Charities will be announced soon.

FAST TIMES SKATEBOARDING X NICK CAVE

Following the successful release with Nick Cave in 2015, Fast Times now present the second collaboration with Nick Cave and Chuck Sperry. 

The iconic Australian singer-songwriter, Fast Times friend and frontman of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds has left a long-lasting impression with his extensive music catalogue and creative vision.    

No stranger to Nick’s projects and tour art is San Francisco artist Chuck Sperry. Similar to our first collaboration with these two legends, Chuck’s artwork draws inspiration from Nick’s song, Heathen Child from the Album Grinderman 2, featuring the lyrics ‘Hey Little Moo Moo, Light As a Rainbow’. The song was chosen by Nick himself to represent the Melbourne skate scene and Fast Times community. 

The full wrap graphic on the decks use a metallic glitter giving the boards a unique texture and feel.
