EVENT : PASSIONFRUIT VIP NIGHT

Wednesday 9th December was the annual Passionfruit: The Sensuality Shop's VIP Night. This is the second time I've been able to attend and its never disappointing. Although buyers with eyes bigger than their wallets beware! It's such a crazy fun filled night packed to the brim (literally). The small boutique has everything on show and plenty of champagne flowing.

VIP night is a great time to purchase all those things on your list you've been eyeing. With 15% OFF storewide and up to 70% off selected items be prepared to witness a frantic pack of women with lingerie, whips, leather and vibrators piled up in their arms like the underwear apocalypse is coming.

Passionfruit stocks some of the most gorgeous designers and brands in lingerie, toys, bondage, oils and books such as Ludique, Vex Clothing, Marlies Dekkers, Lelo, Fun Factory, Bijoux Indiscrets, Chromat, William Wilde, Fraulein Kink, Nicole de Carle, Lady Bellentina to name just a few. But by far the stand out is the Australian Designer favourite Hopeless Lingerie.

This VIP event this year dedicated a full room solely dedicated to the cult lingerie designer Gabrielle Adamidis and her brand Hopeless Lingerie. Whilst Gaby couldn't be in attendence her gorgeous team member Dominique was on hand to take on the hoards of women dying to get their hands on Hopeless pieces on site.

What I love most about Passionfruit is the free and easy going attitude of the store and the strong female positivity of the store's ethos. Owner Michelle Temminghoff has gone to a great effort to have a space where women and men feel at ease and feel like they are more involved in an experience rather than quickly ducking into some "sex store". Passionfruit is a luxurious experience in a boutique setting that is not only inviting but brings a little class back into an industry that has been so overtaken by mega stores and online warehouses.

These nights bring all kinds of people together with a love for all things sensual and sexual. Whether the enthusiast or just the curious these nights are a perfect chance to not only mingle but also a chance to get first hand advice from a lovely team of representatives that know what they are talking about and you can even play around with demo models and ask questions in a fun open environment.
