What attracted you to tattooing?
I guess the ever continuation of change and creativity. I also like the challenges that come with working with clients to achieve results we will both be happy with, through the design process.
How did you get into the industry? Was it hard to find an apprenticeship?
I first started through just knowing the right person at the right time. I never really did an official apprenticeship, I was mainly self-taught.
How long have you been tattooing?
Just over 3 years in a studio now.
What inspires you?
I am attracted to the cubist movement, primitive tribal artworks and patterns and traditional tattoo.
Who are your favourite tattoo artists?
A few of artists that stand out for me would have to be Luca Font, Maxime Buchi, Duncan X, Thomas Hooper, Brody Polinski, Gakkin...
How would you describe your tattoo style?
Bold, traditional, cubist ideology with some tribal elements.
What have you learned from the industry?
If you weren't tattooing what would you be doing?
Something with my hands and involves creating.
What advice do you have to people considering careers in tattooing?
What are some of the best things you have experienced as a result of your career?
All the cities I have visited around the world and all the friends I've made, both clients and fellow tattooers.
