Who is Frederika (aka BEZDOMNAYAKOSHKA)?
I'm never quite sure how to answer this question. Not that I get asked a lot but I kinda get all philosophical and weird about it. Anyway if I had to describe who I am without going all Nietzsche. I'd probably say I'm a 27 years old woman-child who's still trying to figure out what to do with her life.
How would you describe your own personal style?
If Vandervost met a Russian stripper.
What are some of your favourite pieces you cannot live without?
Definitely black high waisted jeans, a white tee and my beloved leather jacket. I think these are the basic pieces anyone should have in their wardrobe .. In a perfect world.
Where are your favourite places to shop and who are some of your favourite brands that you continue to revisit?
I find myself shopping online a lot lately, nasty-gal, ovate, dstm, Rick Owens Nuit Clothing and Shop Untitled are a few shops I personally love. Also the evergreens.. Comme des Garçons, Ann Demeulemesteer and CHROMAT. Very edgy but still chic. I always find what I'm looking for on these and I suggest you guys to check their websites out.
Who are some of your style icons?
Definitely Rick Owens and his lovely wife, Michelle Lamy. She's the most inspiring creature I've ever laid eyes on. I feel like there's no need to be perfectly harmonic or standard beautiful to be a muse. And she is the best example to my theory. Grace Jones is definitely another role model I look up to. She's obviously the icon, the queen of fierce.
Where do you draw your influences and inspirations from?
Art. In every form. I breathe and live art. I'm a big fan of contemporary and modern, my favorite place to be is the Guggenheim in NYC. I try to go at least once or twice a month. I'd rather spend my free time surrounded by beautiful pieces and installations. It is truly inspiring and stress free. Marina Abramovich is my all time favorite.
What are some of the key things to remember when putting together winning 'outfits' or looks?
I think the outfit should reflect your own personality so follow your instinct but always remember to keep it simple.

Black, leather, killer shoes and more black. Your personal style is minimal, dark and edgy whist still being simple. What is it you love so much about fashion and aesthetics?
Creativity and versatility. fashion to me is a way to express whatever we have on the inside and bring it on the outside. I like to experiment and wear oddly shaped clothes and different textures. Fashion is fun and it never gets boring, it allows you to change everyday.
Do you have any plans to expand on your instagram and start a blog?
I am working on it. I'm building my own website which will be a window on my way of living fashion, art and photography. My biggest passions.
