Visual artist Heather Gabel and jewelry maker Laurel Baker collaborate for the first time with The Seventh House, a limited edition jewelry collection. The Seventh House is referred to in astrology as the House of Partnership, a shift away from the self toward another -- a partner. By cooperating with and relating to another we unite for the purpose of achieving something. The result of this effort is a cohesive collection using mostly the casting method to incorporate a range of materials, from quartz crystals to authentic Native American Indian arrowheads and snake vertebrae, into delicate necklaces, bold cuffs and statement earrings.
