What attracted you to tattooing?
Getting my first tattoo was an incredible experience. I just think about tattooing till this day. I’m from a small town and didn’t have friends into the industry so it took me a while to figure out that it was possible for me to be into it, haha.
How did you get into the industry?
I’ve been very fortunate get hired as an apprentice in a shop 15km from home. I had a 50%job in the morning and spend the rest of the day at the shop. Moving to get tattooed in different countries in Europe and in the US helped and still help me a lot to figure out what I’m doing.
Was it hard to find an apprenticeship?
According to my situation/location it seems to be difficult but I seemed to be very lucky

What inspires you?
Loud music in general, illustrations of 18th century, old / strange photography, wildlife, old timers flash, my girlfriend
Who are your favorite tattoo artists?
There is too much extraordinary tattoo artist to mention. Each tattoo artist who create smart and solid work
How would you describe your tattoo style?
I try to do tattoos who will age well. I don’t have a super specific style for now. Sometimes traditional and sometimes a little bit looser depending of my customer’s request.
What have you learned in your years in the industry?
I feel like I have a lot to learn and the only way to follow my path and be better is hard working.
What advice do you have to people considering careers in tattooing?
They need to have a true devotion and love for tattooing. They have to be patient and find an apprenticeship if they deserve it.
What are some of the best things you have experienced as a result of your career?
Meet nice people with the same interest/enthusiasm. Have a smile each morning when I wake up and go to work. No boss and no bullshit. I hope have opportunities to do guest spot by the future.

I tattoo at Steelworkshop in Fribourg and Morat in Switzerland
