Education/Study:
I have two Bachelors of Science, one in Sociology and the other in Women's Studies. Along with a Minor in Gender, Sexualities, and Queer Theory. Oh, and I'm a licensed hair stylish and esthetician. I like knowing things....
What was growing up like for you?
Oh....I'm not done growing yet.
What is it that you love most about being a woman?
That's an interesting question. I don't quite know. I am comfortable living in my skin and being the person I am. Being a woman just kind of comes along with the package of me.
When no one is around what is Cara Mia usually doing?
What you see is what you get. I'm a dork, and I act like a child more often than not. I get along with damn near everyone and love a good adventure. I work a normal job at Intel, have an amazing Boxer puppy, am very family oriented, and spend my free time with my pals. Nothing too exciting.
Do you see yourself as Model?
I see myself as versatile.
When did you become involved in modelling and what do you love about it?
I've been modeling for about three years now, and I love creating something new. I'm constantly impressed with the teams I work with and taking an idea and making it a reality.
What would you like to do it more in the future?
I'm all about traveling right now. I want to see it all.
What do you admire in other women?
I admire the resiliency that women tend to encompass.

Cara Mia is a real girl.
Where to you draw inspiration from?
From everything around me. I know some amazing human beings, and we all tend to bounce ideas and concepts off one another. But right now, my wifey Krissy, she inspires and motivates me beyond belief. She's constantly pushing me to work hard and be my own personal best.
How would you describe your style?
I'm kind of a weirdo....
Are you a fashion brands girl or do you just wear what you like or whats comfortable?
I tend to rock what is comfortable, I live in Portland and have to make sure that what I'm wearing can hold up to the elements. But I do have an affinity for dressing up along the pinup style.
Who would you say is your style icon?
I'm in love with the Xtabay Boutique in Portland, if I could dress from there on the regular...I would be a happy girl.
Tales of love & lust? What is there to tale?
Hah. I'm funny. I love with a fury, I'm loyal to a fault, and that's all there is to it.
What do you look for in the opposite sex?
And what are the number 1 deal breakers? I look for a friend first, someone I can laugh and grow with. I'm all about positive energy and moving forward, life is too short to sit stagnant. As for deal breakers....a negative attitude. That's the main one.
Is there a public and private Cara Mia?
No, I'm not a secretive person. I'm shy from time to time, but I'm typically an open book.
If you were stuck on a desert island and your only shoe options were crocs or uggs what would you do?
I imagine Uggs would hold up longer than Crocs.
What's your take on life and what advice would give any of your fans?
Keep your head up, there's always someone else out there doing more with less than you. Be thankful for what you've got. I think that people often forget to enjoy life for what it is, and live too much in the past or future....aim for right now.
