Bona Drag | Ceremonial Collection

"Bona Drag is proud to announce the first season of the Ceremonial collection, an incredibly special collaboration with Mara Hoffman, Unearthen, Lindsey Thornburg, Pamela Love, Meredith Kahn (of Made Her Think), Samantha Pleet and With Hearts in My Eyes. Bona Drag founder Heather Wojner chose a diverse variety of talented designers to create wearable bridal and ceremony gowns, dresses, and jewelry. For this exclusive Bona Drag project each designer interpreted 'Ceremony' to make even the most special garments and jewelry you'll ever own accessible and ready-to-wear. The designers created exceptional pieces inspired by their unique aesthetics and the look of the collection ranges from the modernly classic to gothic fairy tale or romantic Victorian elegance.

Best known for her luxurious cloaks and dresses, Lindsey Thornburg said "It's only natural for my brand to collaborate with Bona Drag on the Ceremonial collection. Bona Drag understands what our clientele wants to drape themselves in for all of life's cherished moments." Thornburg created an ivory silk Heroine gown that is innocently provocative, balancing a dramatically plunging neckline with delicate lightweight silken fabric.

Mara Hoffman’s first ever ready-to-wear bridal dress is perfectly timeless. Hoffman’s Grecian goddess-inspired flowing gown is beaded at the bodice and feels like it should be displayed in a museum. Samantha Pleet’s Ivory Silk Tabernacle Dress includes the designer's smart, signature details including a simple twisted midriff cutout that makes it look refreshingly modern.
Jewelry designer Gia Bahm of Unearthen created the Crown Heirloom Ring set, both dazzling and sweetly romantic. "I've always wanted to do some sort of commitment ring, and it's an honor to be included." Also included in the collection are exceptionally gorgeous pieces by Anna Sheffield, Bliss Lau, Suzannah Wainhouse, Lover, MLE Hagen, Aesa and Talon NYC."
