To coincide with their 3rd Australian tour, French funeral doom lords Monarch will be raining darkness and painting the highways red with the evil forces of Relapse recording artists Unearthly Trance (Brooklyn, USA) and Southern Lord recording artists Eagle Twin (Salt Lake City, USA).
My friends, let me just say that this will be a triple billing of doom like no other, never has there been an Australian tour like this, one that's solely devoted to the extreme forces of detuned downbeat metal! This is a triple billing of World-class doom.
With two successful Australian tours now under their belts, their last being with Southern Lord recording artists Wolves in the throne Room, it's safe to say that Monarch have built up a loyal fan base of die hard doom merchants. Rising from the blackened sea off the coast of the south of France, Monarch has been laying waste on international stages since their inception in 2004. With the addition of new drummer Rob Shaffer and second guitarist Robert MacManus, Monarch is now an unstoppable five-piece monolith.
