Who's that Girl? - Drew Linden

Have you ever met someone and almost instantaneously felt like you had known them forever? That's how I felt after meeting Drew Linden in 2009 after becoming friends online two years previous. There are very few people I can say I have had an immediate love and affinity for but Drew is without a doubt one of them. Our rock solid friendship and mutual admiration seems limitless and it's only fitting then that I present her to you as the latest 'Who's that Girl?'.

27.  28 on the 28th of January, GOLDEN BIRTHDAY MAGIC!
I'm a white girl. German and Swedish mainly.
Currently live:
I currently reside in New York City.
Day job (what pays the bills):
I am a tattooer and i Tattoo at Twelve 28 Tattoo in Brooklyn, NYC

I read a lot of old classic and romance novels, paint, draw, listen to massive amounts of music, take pretty pictures and lurk the Internet.

Oh i have so many! But right now its focusing on my tattooing and career as such, traveling to Australia in April and all around the world if I can.

Music , art, lost love, high-fives, good friends, pretty things.

I graduated High school the summer of 2002 and went straight to college where I studied journalism, music and art. I never graduated. I dropped out to pursue tattooing.

What was growing up like for you?

I would say that I had a pretty good childhood. My mother did everything she could to provide a wonderful life for me.

Do you see yourself as Model?

It's a funny thing, being a model. I don't know if i consider myself one. I know that I like to take pictures and I photograph very well but I wouldn't really consider myself a 'model' ....I like to have fun. That's what I consider myself, fun. haha

When did you become involved in modelling and what do you love about it?

I started being photographed when i was about 22 or 23 for a website called (i have since left the website for personal reasons about 4 years ago). I also have been published in several Tattoo Magazines like, 'Tattoo" and the very popular UK Magazine "skin Deep". I love feeling pretty, I love being photographed. I have about 85% of my body covered in amazing tattoo art and I like being about to share that.

What would you like to do in the future?

I would definately like to be featured in more tattoo magazines and work with some amazing designers and clothing lines.

What do you admire in other women?

Truth and curves. I do honestly believe that a real woman has curves and more curvy models should be used in Magazines and media ad's.

Who is Drew Linden?

A Gypsy with a big heart and an awesome hand shake.

How would you describe your style?

Strange, just like my personality. I like what i like and it mainly has to do with old man shoes and hand-me-downs form thrift stores.

Are you a fashion brands girl or do you just wear what you like or whats comfortable?

I wear what is comfortable and what I think is weird enough to be able to leave my house. I love layering different clothing and patterns. My favorite color is purple so I try to wear it everyday.

Who would you say is your style icon?

Patti smith, Billy Holiday, Florence Welch, 1930-1950's photos. I don't really have just one, I see lots of different stuff everyday and I just try to kind of make up my own style.

What's your take on life and what advice would give any of your fans?

Life is a very tricky thing.  Work hard, Never give up, never talk down about yourself. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and the stranger you are, the closer you are to being normal. Being a size 3 is totally okay and so is being a size 18, rock it as you because there is no one else in the world like you.
